Below I've provided the discussion questions I've received so far. I apologize that I do not have discussion questions for every group, as your panel group members are slackers. However, those slackers may still propose questions after your presentation as that is a part of their grade.
NOTE: You do not and should not change your presentation based on these questions. I just want you to feel prepared and ready to respond to all panel member's questions. Also note, I have not proofread these for spelling or grammar. Historical 1). Besides having the students become socially aware, what are other possible solutions to this issue? 2). Did the results of the Google Forms survey surprise you at all? why or why not 3). What were the demographics of the survey? Which types of students were more exposed to this issue? 4. Why did you choose this part of history, and has social media changed history in terms of police brutality? 5. Is there anything in particular you think could change or stop police brutality? 6. Since social media has become more prevelant, have officers been held more accountable for their actions? PC 1. What age and ethnic group are you asking? 2. What kind of data do you expect to get from your survey results? 3. Do you feel the survey is accurate? 4. How do you think Native Americans are being treated as of now? 5.how can people decipher what is cultural appropriation and what is cultural appreciation? 6.what should be done or said in response to when people use freedom of speech to defend cultural appropriation? 7.For what reason do you think Native Americans are being misrepresented in today's society? Do you think it's because of what society has conditioned people to think of them? 8.-Based on your results on your polling, what is meant by the general sensitivity for the Native Americans? Marxist 1. Aren't these celeberties being influential in a good way as compared to others like Lil Pump or Lil Tay? 2. "Everyone want to imitate their role models, but it is another thing to be a clone." I'm confused to what you're trying to say here. Trying to imitate your role models is bad? If you were to imitate an instagram comedian and Musician Fatboy_sse who is repeatedly seen giving back to his community by giving those in need money, food/drinks, and sometimes shelter, would imitating fatboy be such a bad thing? 3.Have you ever bought anything off-line? For example off Instagram or any celebrity endorsed product. 4. Do you think that the survey sample was biased in their selections? 5. Were the 19 girls out of 25 surveyed following the "Jenners" and Victoria Justice? 6. Do you as a group think that the celebrities actually think that the product FitTea is good for their followers? Archetypal 1. Do colorblind people have the same interpretation of the colors? 2. Why is green the color of GO? 3. What is the meaning behind the colors of the rainbow? Why are they in that order? Feminist 1. What reasons can you give that explain why Hillary Clinton lost the election? 2. In the future what steps can be taken for more female politicians to be elected?
